b. Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Usage Data: App feature usage, session duration, crash logs, and performance data to help us improve the App.
• Analytics Data: We use analytics services to understand how users interact with the App. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

c. Camera and Storage Permissions

AI Scan requires access to your device's camera to scan documents and storage to save scanned files. These permissions are used solely for the App's core functionality. We do not access your camera or storage for any other purpose.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and functionality.
• Process and complete document scanning, OCR, and PDF export operations.
• Send you updates, security alerts, and support messages.

AI Scan is designed with an offline-first architecture. All document scanning, OCR processing, and file management happen locally on your device. Your scanned documents are stored only on your device unless you choose to export or back them up to a cloud service.

We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption for PDF files, biometric authentication support, and encrypted data transmission when cloud features are used. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App may use the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics for Firebase: For app usage analytics and crash reporting. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements (free tier only). Google Privacy Policy
• Google Play Services: For app distribution and in-app purchases. Google Privacy Policy
• Cloud Storage Providers:If you choose to export files to Google Drive, iCloud, or Dropbox, those services' respective privacy policies apply.

The free version of AI Scan may display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your interests. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

Premium users do not see advertisements.

AI Scan is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with the App's services and as described in this Privacy Policy. We will also retain and use your information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

Scanned documents and files stored locally on your device remain under your control. You can delete them at any time through the App or your device's file manager.
